Onome Otite is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. The privacy and protection of all client data, both corporate and personal, is considered to be of the utmost importance. In my practise the following personal information is collected in order to provide you with goods and services: name, address, e-mail address and telephone number. This privacy policy explains how this information is used and how you can instruct me, if you prefer to limit the use of that information. This privacy policy sets out how I will use and protect any personal information that you give when you use this website or buy products. Personal information acquired when using this website, will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. I regularly review and update these policies to monitor and deliver compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016 (GDPR) and electronic communication regulation. This policy is updated from time to time, so please check this page at intervals to ensure you are happy with the changes. Policy last updated May 2018.

If you follow Onome Otite on a third party platform such as Instagram, Facebook and/or Linked In you will be relying on their data protection only. I may use your personal details such as your e-mail address to send you promotional offers and to let you know what I am up to or to inform you of the curating of future events via our newsletter. 

Mailing List.

When you sign up to the Onome Otite (email) newsletter, the personal information that you provide is collected (i.e e-mail address, name). My newsletter is processed by Mail Chimp - I rely on their confirmed compliance and check this regularly. For this information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. Statistics concerning email openings and clicks are gathered using MailChimp’s industry standard technologies to help monitor and improve my newsletter. If you sign up to receive these emails, you can at any time choose to unsubscribe. The unsubscribe option is found at the bottom of all newsletters or you can request to be removed from the mailing list by via email. Newsletters are sent for marketing purposes and include; vip invitations to shows and events, workshop information, sale offers, articles, project developments and new art work features. I may also contact you to share details about information you have asked about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check that you’re happy and satisfied.

Third Party Processing.

Personal details will never be sold, distributed or leased to any third parties, unless it is required to do so by law. You may request details of personal information that is held about you under the Data Protection Act 1998, which you are entitled to amend, or delete. Requests for this information should be made via email.

Google Analytics is used to collect standard internet log information. This to learn of statistics, such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is processed in a way which does not identify anyone. Google is prohibited to make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting the website. Cookies.

Traffic log cookies are used to identify which pages are being used on this website. This helps to analyse data about web page traffic and to improve the content of this website. This information is used for statistical analysis purposes only, after which the data is removed from the system. Cookies help me to provide a better website. For example I can monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not.
